In his new role, Peffers will be helping to deliver on cloud engagements at a senior technical level, building and leading Optm’s Cloud Solutions Practice, as well as working on creating products and offerings to help Optm’s clients with their cloud needs.

“I am excited to be joining Optm to lead their cloud practice,” Peffers told Techwire. “I aim to make a positive impact for Optm’s clients as well as within the consulting field.”

Previously a part of Taborda Solutions in 2019 and 2020, Peffers said he’s excited to rejoin the Taborda team, now as a part of Optm’s global team.

“We are very happy to have found a new home for Tom as a part of our rapidly growing Optm family,” Jeff Smith, president of Optm West, told Techwire. “His diverse cloud knowledge has done a lot of exciting things over the last five or six years to support government solutions, making him a great fit for our organization and our clients.”

Peffers has worked as a senior engineer to complete many client engagements such as architecting Microsoft Azure solutions, Office 365 migrations, line-of-business application migrations, entire infrastructure rebuild, and Azure hybrid cloud deployments.

Peffers is a graduate of Solano Community College, where he earned an associate’s degree in computer science. He has more than a dozen professional certifications, including from Google, Microsoft and Oracle.
